Soon, Star Wars Battlefront shooter video game released for PS4 and PlayStation VR in November 2015 is expected to roll out for the PC’s virtual reality headsets. Though, Star War Battlefront II publisher Electronic Arts yet not confirmed whether it would add to the virtual reality journey or not, but the team Star War X-wing who made the first game’s VR addition experience is working on its sequel to bring it in reality. The Star Wars: Battlefront Rouge One X-Wing VR Mission remains one of the best experiences on Sony’s PlayStation VR (PSVR), the developer behind the X-wing VR mission which was an enhancement to Star Wars Battlefront given a hint that they are working on something awesome for Battlefront II. Alex Mole, director at X-Wing VR developer Criterion Games told that they have surprises in store for the full game’s upcoming sequel. Surprise could be any of many other things as we are yet unsure of the fact, but having Mole’s past with X-wing VR, it is interpreted that VR might coming to game.
Battlefront Rouge One X-Wing VR Mission was built as a piece of downloadable content for the original game by the Criterion. Sony worked with EA exclusively to produce the X-Wing VR DLC for the PlayStation VR headset on the PlayStation 4, and the company released it for free for anyone who already owned Star Wars: Battlefront on the PS4 system. It was Sony and EA vision to use VR mission as the base for the promotion of the Sony headset, but still fans considered the X-Wing mission one of the best experience for PSVR, so the fans who have invested in head mounted display would likely welcome criterion comeback to Battlefront II if it susceptible to bring more VR content.
Upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II 2015 series sequel under development by EA DICE in collaboration with Criterion Games and Motive Studios will offer you to play role in some of the biggest battles from the entire Star Wars history, across characters and locations of all trilogies. The news revealed playable characters like Yoda and Darth Maul as well as new character’s addition as Rey and Kylo Ren. There has been no announcement related to VR for the game so far, as expected to be disclosed at E3 conference in June. Star Wars Battlefront II will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One from November 2017.
