Nokia OZO advanced camera, offering stereoscopic (3D) 360- degree video recording win an opportunity to create VR content for Disney Projects and the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi film. Star Wars admirers will be pleased to know that Nokia has announced a multi-year partnership with Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Studio to create immersive content of the movies scenes, utilizing Nokia OZO cameras. The first film being supported with VR project is Star Wars: The Last Jedi, produced by filmmaker Lucasfilms.
As per the agreement, the Nokia will extend its VR camera OZO , including its software product-solutions with the aim to produce the new immersive and life changing VR content for the upcoming last Jedi movie which is set for release on December 15, 2017. According to Nokia Technologies interim president Brad Rodrigues the OZO will enable Star Wars fans to be transported to the unbelievable world depicted in the story.
The Nokia’s intermediary president Brad Rodrigues has said that they are pleased to offer services to such companies like Disney and Lucasfilm, bringing VR to the most inspiring movie experiences which allow viewers to virtually visit the incredible sets where their favorite Star Wars scenes were captured.
Brian Miller, the Lucas Film’s president further added that Nokia OZO will impart a chance to all Star Wars enthusiasts to be moved in to the other worlds; also people will love to be given a chance to learn much more about the whole film creating process.
Disney previously has utilized the Nokia OZO for generating VR experiences for Pete’s Dragon, Alice through the Looking Glass, and the Jungle Book.
