Nintendo’s latest console, the Nintendo switch welcoming the new Wii U fighting game Pokken Tournament on the device soon. The game titled Pokémon Tournament releasing this fall with its new exciting features solely to the Switch version on September 22, 2017. Pokémon tournament DX would be the first Pokémon title for the Nintendo Switch. The game environment will allow the players to play the game in handheld mode, TV mode or by sharing a Joy-Con controller.
Last week, it was in reports that tournament game would be rebuild for the Nintendo Switch, but now it has been confirmed with the announcement at E3 2017 that it was just a rumor. Rather, Pokken Tournament is set to follow another remake of a popular Wii U title, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, expected to release on April 28.
Initially the Pokken Tournament released on the Wii U in March 2016. The game is based on mechanics of the Tekken series the game features face to face battle between popular Pokemon characters. Gamers are offered to choose from sixteen Pokémon, including fan-favorites like Charizard, Pikachu, Lucario, and Mewtwo. The characters in the game can be marked against each other in both offline and online manner. Pokken Tournament will bring the return of all sixteen characters including five new characters: Darkrai, Scizor, Croagunk, Decidueye, and Empoleon. Players will now be able to take part in three-on-three battles, as well as online ranked play.
The five new characters which are recently added to the arcade of the version were earlier unavailable on the Wii U version. With the release of Pokemon Tournament DX, console gamers will finally able to enjoy five missing characters and expected to add more DLC characters at a later date.
