Facebook is getting social in reality transforming you in new avatar to interact with people in real world

Facebook is been a part of our lives for 14 years, bringing advancements to the platform with the time. Now, pacing with the most trending technology virtual reality it has come up with its new social feature Facebook Spaces. On April 18, 2017, Facebook has released its first ever virtual reality experience. During Facebook’s annual F8 developer conference in San Francisco which is taking place at the McEnergy Convention Center in San Jose yesterday and today. Facebook announced the beta launch of Facebook Spaces, a virtual reality app version of Facebook for Oculus Rift. After being fascinating world with its immersive gaming environment, virtual reality is about to get taken over by social network with Facebook taking the charge to initiate the newness.
Facebook Spaces is a new application that enables users to explore much of the site’s service within an arena of virtual reality. You will be transformed into a new incarnation as soon as you put on the head mounted displays and will be transported to the new world of virtual reality. You can effortlessly interact with your friends and family as you do in your everyday life in the existing world. Irrespective of where you are, you can hang out with people in a fun, interactive virtual environment as if you were in the same place at the same time. In a virtual and shared Facebook space, users can find a variety of Facebook content, will be transported to new places where they can access 360 videos and photos using their new avatar, can share photos and videos, and any media on their Facebook newsfeed. Draw 3D objects with virtual markers, video call your friends outside of VR, and share selfies on Facebook.
The application is now available on the Oculus store front. It allows three Facebook friends to invite while using Facebook space, at the same time you can interact with people in Facebook messenger directly within spaces, with a condition that both parties should be occupied with their own Oculus rift headsets.

At the conference, Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated the Oculus Touch controller’s emotion options, which make avatars show facial expressions, emotions, happy or confused in VR. The goal is to interact through tracking gestures and voice of a person. Oculus is concentrating for a more social environment on VR, allowing user to generate digital version of them and interact with anywhere in the world. It seems that the world is going to transform in to digital world replacing real world gradually.
