Another new game named Yoshi Game has been announced for Nintendo Switch, during annual game trade fair E3 spotlight presentation today. For now, it’s simply been entitled as “Yoshi”, and it’s set to launch for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
The game was spotted at the show along with a look at gameplay. Similar to other Yoshi games, the new title is introducing an adorable character running throughout the series of levels with several eggs following behind them. The game set will offer a papier-mâché and cardboard items that gamers can use and interact with.
Yoshi Wolly World was the last game released by Nintendo for the Wii U in October 2015. It was ported to the 3DS earlier this year as Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
Also, Nintendo is expected to display gameplay and new looks at other approaching switch name, comprising Super Mario Odyssey. Previous to E3, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo president and COO, confirmed that the focus would heavily be on Odyssey, and a number of other titles headed to the Switch later this year and next.
During Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation, the company also declared a new Pokemon game for Switch, as well as Metroid Prime 4. It also revealed that Rocket League is expected to come to Switch towards the end of 2017. A new Kirby game and new Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC was also released and the trade also showed off some of the wacky mechanics in Super Mario Odyssey.
