As the show was scheduled to be premiered on April 23, 2017 the trailer for the fourth season of HBO’s Silicon Valley was out from the month’s disseminating that the show has upgraded to the latest techs new addiction- virtual reality representing a prominent role in the show. The fourth season Silicon Valley series finally screened on April 30, 2017 the past Sunday. The show has referenced VR multiple times in its first three seasons, and looks like it may play a major role in the next season but virtual reality was seen in traces occupying a minor side plot throughout the episode, as the technology didn’t seem to arrive at full attainment yet.

If you are reading this you must be aware of the fact the virtual reality is taking over the world in recent years, and the tech capital of the world Silicon Valley accounts for its rapid popularity. So, it’s obvious that the comedy based on the region would eventually address the virtual reality. For this recent last night episode found the valley’s worst business owner Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller), the show starrer working with one of the members of his incubator, Jian Yang (student) staying at his home as tenant. They believed that they have developed some app for oculus rift to be sold. Bachman, a man was presuming that he could sell anything created by his incubator student and would immediately occupied by the potential millions. But by the time Bachman realised and find out it’s a vapourware. He said it’s a VR play which is the superficial space in the valley right now. Nobody understands it but everyone wants it. It’s not a serene where anyone creates rubbish would be welcomed.

Naturally, you learn that things aren’t quite as fruitful as they seemed at first and the idea doesn’t appear to be anywhere near profitable as Bachman was initially hoping. As in the trailer it has been hinted that AR and VR has been used at several occasions but there could be nothing as such seen in reality.
